This primary suite renovation is located within a late-19th-century Tudor-style home in Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania. The existing bathroom had been renovated in the 1980s and remained largely untouched, presenting an opportunity to rethink both its design and functionality.
We reworked the layout, repositioning the tub and shower to create a more efficient plan and a private water closet. Select windows were replaced to bring additional natural light into the space, with the new windows carefully designed to match the style and character of the home's original windows, an important architectural feature of the Tudor exterior.
The resulting bathroom is light and understated, with a soft palette and classic detailing that respects the character of the historic home while giving the primary suite a fresh, timeless feel.
