Architecture + Interior Design
Brady Design is an architecture and interior design studio led by father and daughter, Brian and Alexandra Brady. Both are registered architects and interior designers, bringing a shared appreciation for architecture, interiors, and the way the two disciplines naturally inform one another.
We believe the strongest spaces come from considering architecture and interiors as one cohesive whole. When both are guided by a single, consistent vision, ideas can move seamlessly from the exterior of a building to its interior—from the proportions of a room and placement of windows to the materials, millwork, furnishings, and details that ultimately define how a space feels.
This integrated approach creates a more streamlined and collaborative process, allowing decisions to be made with the entire project in mind. The result is a home that feels thoughtful, layered, and complete, rather than a collection of individual pieces.
Architecture
Our architectural work ranges from new construction and major renovations to additions and thoughtful transformations of existing homes. We approach each project with an appreciation for its setting, history, and individual character, while creating spaces that are both beautiful and highly livable.
Interior Design
Our interior design work is grounded in the same architectural sensibility. We consider proportion, scale, materiality, color, light, and detail alongside the way a home will actually be lived in.
From the overall character of a house to the smallest architectural detail, we believe interiors should feel collected and personal—comfortable enough for everyday life, while maintaining a strong sense of refinement and permanence.
An Integrated Approach
While we are uniquely positioned to provide both architecture and interior design, not every project requires us to do both.
Sometimes we serve as the architects, working closely with an interior designer to bring a project to life. Other times, we join a project as the interior designers, collaborating with an architect whose work we admire. We enjoy collaborating, learning from different perspectives, and bringing new ideas and influences into our work. Whether we are leading both architecture and interiors or contributing one discipline to a larger team, our goal remains the same: to create thoughtful, beautiful spaces with a strong sense of place and a lasting point of view.
Architecture and interior design are not separate disciplines to us. They are two parts of the same conversation.
Where We Work
Brady Design is a father-daughter architecture and interior design studio with longstanding connections to the Hamptons, Philadelphia, and Palm Beach. Led by Brian and Alexandra Brady, both licensed architects and interior designers, our work takes us across the country, but these three places have become particularly meaningful to our practice.
The Hamptons
The Hamptons have been at the heart of Brady Design for more than two decades, and it is here that we have developed and refined much of our architectural and interior design vocabulary.
We have a deep appreciation for the area's historic homes and distinctive architectural character, as well as its landscape and relaxed way of life. From thoughtful renovations of historic houses to new construction, the Hamptons continue to be an important source of inspiration for our work and a community we are proud to be part of.
Palm Beach
Palm Beach has become an increasingly important part of Brady Design, in large part because many of our longstanding clients from New York, the Hamptons, and Philadelphia have made their way south. Those relationships have naturally led to new projects and new connections in the area.
We have been fortunate to participate in the Kips Bay Decorator Show House Palm Beach and to design homes for both longtime and new clients. As West Palm Beach continues to rejuvenate and develop in response to the area's growth and demand, we are excited to have a number of Brady Design homes contributing to this evolving community.
Philadelphia
Brady Design began in Philadelphia, and the region remains an important part of who we are. The area is rich in architectural history, with beautiful historic homes and neighborhoods that offer an extraordinary foundation for thoughtful renovation.
As architects and interior designers with a particular interest in bringing architecturally significant homes back to life, we find a natural fit here—preserving what makes these houses special while adapting them thoughtfully for contemporary family life.
Beyond…
While the Hamptons, Philadelphia, and Palm Beach are central to our practice, our work is not limited by geography. We travel frequently to work with our clients, and each project brings an opportunity to understand a new place—its architecture, landscape, and way of life.
Our longstanding connections to these three communities give us a strong foundation, while our work beyond them continues to broaden our perspective and inspire our practice. Wherever we work, our approach remains the same: to understand the setting, respect the architecture, and create homes that feel deeply connected to both their place and the people who live in them.
