Built in 1880 and overlooking the Atlantic in Spring Lake, New Jersey, this historic oceanfront home underwent a full renovation to bring it comfortably into the present while preserving its character and sense of place.

We added architectural paneling throughout the interiors and redesigned the kitchens and bathrooms, creating a sophisticated but relaxed backdrop for family life. A palette of blues and whites reflects the home's coastal setting, while layers of texture and traditional details keep the interiors warm and inviting.

Throughout the renovation, our goal was to strike a balance between elegance and ease. The house has a refined architectural character, but at heart it remains a family beach house—one meant to be lived in, gathered in, and enjoyed with the ocean just beyond its doors.

The result is a home that feels timeless and polished without losing the relaxed spirit of its setting.
