GEORGICA ROAD
East Hampton, New York
Architecture & Interiors by Brady Design • Photography by Peter Murdock • Built by Ronald Webb
Set on a private acre of gardens in the heart of East Hampton’s Georgica estate area, this expanded 1904 carriage house is just moments from the ocean and Main Street. Our work included the interior design throughout, along with the renovation of three upstairs bathrooms, bringing fresh character and functionality to the historic home.
One particularly thoughtful transformation turned an awkward, underused landing and sitting area into a gracious hall bathroom for the growing family. A double vanity, separate tub and shower, and ample storage make the space both generous and practical. Throughout the home, palettes of blues and greens evoke the nearby ocean, creating interiors that feel connected to their coastal setting.
The property’s entertaining spaces extend beyond the main house. We transformed the basement of the detached two-car garage into a game room and walk-in wine room, creating a destination for gathering with family and friends. The result is a home that balances historic character with relaxed, family-friendly living and a wonderful capacity for entertaining.
