EDWARDS LANE
Southampton, New York
Interiors by Brady Design • Photography by Marco Ricca
For this Southampton home, the interiors were designed to complement and enhance the character of the architecture, creating a home that feels collected, comfortable, and connected to its surroundings.
The house's reclaimed wood beams and antique floors provided a natural starting point for the design. We leaned into that sense of history by incorporating an eclectic mix of vintage and antique pieces, allowing the furnishings to feel as though they belonged to the house rather than having been brought in all at once. The patina and imperfections of these pieces add warmth and depth, while a relaxed palette keeps the interiors feeling fresh and livable.
We love the way vintage pieces can reinforce the character of an older home. Here, they work alongside the architectural details rather than competing with them, creating a sense that the house and its interiors have evolved together over time.
The result is a home that feels distinctly personal and quietly sophisticated—rooted in the history and character of the architecture, but designed for comfortable living today.
